Close protection officer

Protection for executives, VIPs and their families, planned and delivered with discretion.

Close protection officers plan routes and venues, protect the principal and work as part of a small, discreet team.

What you will do

• Protect the principal at home, at work and when travelling
• Plan and recce routes and venues
• Work with drivers, residence teams and other officers
• Keep the principal's schedule and details confidential
• Report and record each assignment

What you will need

• A valid SIA Close Protection licence
• Close protection experience, with military or police service an advantage
• First aid qualification
• The right to work in the UK and five years of checkable history for screening
